About the studio
Orbit’s Impreza Designs, The Architectural Hub, is an architecture and interior design practice based in Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
Architecture that complements the terrain.
We create spaces that respond to their natural context. A close reading of the climatic, cultural and geographical needs of each region lets us design buildings that sit in harmony with their land and with the people who live and work in them.
A passion for travel and for the study of vernacular architecture has shaped the studio’s thinking from the start. We interpret traditional building wisdom through contemporary materials, technology and construction methods, aiming for design that is timeless, sensitive to its context and new in how it is made.

Three ideas behind the work
Read the place
Every design starts with the site: its slope, climate, culture and the way people already use it.
Learn from tradition
Vernacular buildings hold generations of practical knowledge. We study them and carry that knowledge forward.
Build it today
Traditional ideas are realised with contemporary materials, technology and construction methods.
